Not only did he receive high praise from all the judges, he brought Kara Dioguiardi to tears, and she couldn’t stop crying, as Simon said “you come out with an incredibly difficult song to sing and you 100% nailed it, not just the best perofrmanc of the night, it’s the best performance we’ve had of all these live shows so far”.

In true GaGa fashion, Lady GaGa’s 9 minute music video for Telephone, featuring Beyoncé, premiered yesterday with lots of hype and fanfare, it’s an over-the-top, mini-movie with Hollywood film references to Chicago, Kill Bill, Thelma and Louise. Tyrese and the band Semi Precious Weapons make an appearance in the video in the Diner scene. Posted on YouTube less than 24 hours ago and the video has received more than 600,000 views, more than 16,000 ratings, almost 14,000 comments and currently 233 video responses.

And what a great night at the Opera Karaoke it was! More than 50 singers stayed up late on Saturday night to channel their inner Diva by taking advantage of the opportunity to sing Opera and Broadway songs at Place des Arts (Metro). The Opera Karaoke event was one of many activities at Montreal’s Nuit Blanche (part of the Montreal Highlights Festival) held during the night of Saturday February 27th-28th, 2010.
