Lady GaGa news: Billboard’s Rising Star, cancelled tour and SNL

Lots of things happening for Lady GaGa these days.   On Friday, October 2nd, Lady GaGa was named Billboard’s Rising Star of 2009.

Lady GaGa’s The Fame album is the best selling album from a debut artist this year, with 3 singles from the album reaching #1, her success cannot be denied.

Unfortunately for fans, it was confirmed on October 2nd, that her upcoming tour with Kanye West has been cancelled, according to Lady GaGa sources because of creative differences, while others speculate that the cancellation is because of low ticket sales.  If you’re lucky enough to live in Australia, she’ll be touring down under in the Spring of 2010.

Those of us who watched  Saturday Night Live on October 3rd, were treated to Lady GaGa in action.  In case you missed it, she delivered two great Lady GaGa musical performances and participated in two skits.
