John C. Reilly & Jon Stewart talk Karaoke on The Daily Show

John C. Reilly was on The Daily Show last week to promote the upcoming film Cyrus and ended up talking more about karaoke and singing than the film.  But no matter what he talks about, Reilly is always entertaining to listen to.

John C. Reilly the actor and the singer

John C. Reilly is no stranger to acting and singing.  He charmed us with his great voice singing Mister Cellophane, as the character Amos in the film Chicago.  In the upcoming movie Cyrus, he plays a John, a socially-inept divorced man looking for love.  In one scene he attempts to find love by singing Don’t You Want Me, the mega hit by the 80s British group The Human League, that has become a karaoke classic.  From this clip, it looks like karaoke works magic for John, at least for a few minutes!

June 7th, 2010, Reilly appeared on The Daily Show to promote the film Cyrus, but ended up talking more about singing karaoke, which songs to sing and not to sing.  He even was able to get Jon to sing a few short phrases with him.
