“All we are saying…
is Give Peace a Chance”, on this 70th anniversary of John Lennon’s birth, take a moment and celebrate the all-too-short life of one of the best singer songwriters ever.
John Lennon, October 9th, 1940 – December 8th, 1980
MusicRadar.com polled its facebook and twitter followers to come up with a list of John Lennon’s 10 Greatest Songs, including And Your Bird Can Sing, Norweigian Wood, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Jealous Guy, Revolution, Working Class Hero, I Am The Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever, Imagine, and Happiness is A Warm Gun.
While that is a great list of great songs, we’d like to add Give Peace A Chance to the list, written by John Lennon for the Plastic Ono Band, during his “bed-in” with Yoko Ono.
