Germany wins Eurovision Song Contest 2010

The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 finale was held Saturday night with a live broadcast including live voting and results with Germany placing first, followed by Turkey in second and Romania in third.  The winner is chosen based on a 50% vote by the public (voting by telephone) and 50% judge vote.

Of the 25 acts who performed on the live show, Germany’s Lena was crowned the winner with her hit song song Satellite.
