Girl Power: Madonna, Celine and Beyonce top Forbes list of Top Earning Musicians

Forbes released their list of the year’s top earning musicans last week and the top three positions were claimed by Madonna, Celine Dion and Beyonce Knowles.

Forbes reported that Madonna’s annual earnings have “hovered” between $40 and $50 million dollars since 2002, while in the last year her earnings reached $110 million as a result of her worldwide tour, her Hard Candy album and other deals.

Following in second, is Celine Dion, who reportedly brought home $100 million this year, lower than last year’s $237 million from a tour, a greatest hits album and a perfume release.

Beyonce Knowles followed in third, with earnings of $87 million from two film roles, performances at the Oscars and the Presidential Inaugural Ball, as well as other deals.
