I’ve made a few recordings from downloaded Karaoke tracks. I’ve posted them to my blog, where I only send friends/family/coworkers etc … Does that break the rules about public performances?

Hello , my name is siboney ive been sing since ever i knew i could actually sing, that would be since i was 13 now im 19 years old…ive been singing for my church….and i love it, becouse its one of my biggest passions. And singing would be the greatest challenge in my life and it would be the best expiriance i would not change for nothing. Thank You So Much……:)

We have huge karaoke parties with our huge outdoor movies screens and everyone has an amazing time. Most people sing along even though they don’t have the microphone. Outdoor karaoke parties are a blast under the stars. We even put music videos up on the huge screens too!

In regards to the tip 5, to use your ears.

I have found that different venues resonate differently which can confuse some vocalists. I always preach for vocalists to listen with their “Inner ears”. By Inner ears I mean to learn to pay attention to the sounds you hear from what is called “Bone Induction”. This is “listening” to the vibrations emanating from your vox that travel though your physical body directly to your inner ear, not sound reflecting from your surroundings back to your ears.

This sound is much truer as the surroundings will not mess with it’s harmonics. There is a pitch difference that you need to learn to adjust to, but once you learn that it is game on.

I have been doing this for the last 15+ years and I no longer need or even want monitors onstage.

Ditto on the syncing problem. Good thing i only spent $5. I literally did one song and then kept trying to sync but to no avail. I do realize about the whole internet connection and all that but just wish it wasn’t so. Great site though. Thanks for the um…. ONE SONG. Lol
