Colbie Caillat releases 2nd album Breakthrough
As a follow up to her 2007 album Coco, with the smash hit Bubbly, Colbie Caillat released her second album, Breakthrough, on August 25th, and will tour the U.S. to promote it starting September 15th. The single Falling For You, released earlier this year, reached #12 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart when it debuted.
Colbie Caillat, a young singer-songwriter from California, grew up with the musical influence of her dad, Ken Caillat, a professional sound engineer who has worked with Fleetwood Mac. She first started posting her songs on MySpace and when she posted Bubbly it took off and made her MySpace’s number 1 unsigned artist for 4 months.
