Christina Aguilera released self-titled debut album 10 years ago today
On August 24th, 1999, Christina Aguilera released her self-titled debut album, which included hits such as Genie In A Bottle, What A Girl Wants, and I Turn To You.
In addition to selling millions of copies, the self-titled album received the Grammy for Best New Album in 2000, in addition to having 2 songs nominated for Best Female Vocal Performance: Genie In A Bottle (2000) and What A Girl Wants (2001).
