Congratulations to 19 year old Taylor Swift on winning the CMA 2009 Entertainer of the Year Award. At 19, Swift is the youngest person to ever win this award. Swift also picked up awards for Female Vocalist, Album of the Year for Fearless, and Music Video of the Year for Love Story.
ABC will broadcast the 43rd CMA Awards tonight, November 11th, 2009, live from Nashville, Tennessee, at 8pm. Co-hosting the ceremonies are Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, both nominated for awards themselves and both scheduled to perform on the show.

Carrie Underwood will be releasing her third album, Play On in early November. Cowboy Casanova, was released earlier in September as a single and is currently available on itunes. Two other songs from the upcoming album, Temporary Home and Undo It, will be available on itunes on October 20th and 27th. On October 25th you will also be able to check out a preview of them on Billboard.
Kicking off the tour in Montreal on November 27th, 2009, Lady GaGa’s The Monster Ball Tour will continue through cities in Canada and the U.S. to New York on January 21, 2010. According to Lady GaGa’s website, ‘The Monster Ball is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera”.
